CCA offers a traditional, proven approach to education—one that emphasizes:
Strong academics in math, science, literature, and history
Teacher-led instruction that prioritizes deep learning over screen time
Classical curriculum developed in partnership with Hillsdale College
Character formation rooted in timeless virtues like responsibility, courage, and integrity
Small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and meaningful relationships
Locally governed leadership — CCA is a board-led school, not managed by a CMO. Our board will include all parent-elected members, ensuring families have a real voice in the direction of the school
Students won’t just learn information—they’ll learn how to think, reason, and communicate clearly.

Community Classical Academy's Steering Committee is led by a dedicated group of parents, educators, and professionals who are committed to bringing a high-quality classical education to Fort Mill families. Elections of the CCA Board will occur in Year 1 of Operations.

CCA is anticipated to initially serve grades K–10 (expanding to K–12), with no tuition and no admissions requirements.
We are designed to serve:
Families seeking a rigorous, traditional education
Students who thrive with structure and high expectations
A diverse student population reflective of the larger community
Students of all abilities, including those needing additional academic support
CCA is built on the Hillsdale College classical education model, used successfully across the country.
Schools using this model consistently demonstrate:
Higher academic performance than state averages
Strong college readiness outcomes
Improved student engagement and attendance
Meaningful character development

CCA was founded by local parents, educators, and leaders who saw a gap—and stepped up to fill it.
We are committed to:
This is a school built with families—not just for them. CCA is a board-led school, not managed by a CMO. Our board will include all parent-elected members, ensuring families have a real voice in the direction of the school
CCA will open with approximately 400 students and grow intentionally over time to serve more than 1,300 students at full capacity.
Our goal isn’t fast growth—it’s doing it right.
